Ohio's largest office furniture dealer, Continental Office, has put together home-office packages for employees of Continental's clients, but otherwise has not targeted individual consumers, said CEO Ira Sharfin.

Continental has weathered the 2020 storm by focusing on its service division, which has stayed busy rearranging some offices, and other products such as flooring, which has remained in demand as buildings started before the pandemic are completed.

Columbus Companies Add Elbow Room with Outdoor Work Spaces

MKC Architects, Continental Office and ootBox, all of which are based in Columbus, used three Downtown parking spaces Friday to showcase their vision for the future of work.

Three Columbus companies spent Friday morning and afternoon showing central Ohio what the future of work might look like. The occasion was “PARK(ing) Day,” an annual international event event first observed by landscape architects in San Francisco and intended to showcase alternative uses for on-street parking spaces.
