Oberlin College

Oberlin College's vision was to modernize their space while maintaining a clean, timeless design that celebrates their rich heritage and, at the same time, looks toward the future. It was critical that it be inspirational, high-impact, and form a sense of community.

Our solution was to use industrial materials like brushed metal plaques to celebrate Hall of Fame members, install oversize metal panels to create a timeline, place illuminated logos that were visible at night through the large windows, and incorporate integrated digital flat screens that could be quickly updated as needed.
